Garden Route Game Lodge - South AfricaThe Garden Route Game Lodge has been developed on 1200ha of land previously utilised for agricultural and farming purposes in 1999. The biggest draw card at this time is to experience the 'Big Five' (still in small family numbers) in this region for the first time in 150 years in a malaria-free environment. The reptile park on the premises hosts 25 different snake species as well as crocodile. Morning and evening game drives are conducted by experienced game rangers in open vehicles. We offer luxury accommodation, warm and friendly service and traditional SA meals around a campfire in an enclosed boma. The Lodge has been awarded 3 Star grading, AA Assured 'Highly Recommended' and was a Finalist in the prestigious 'AA Accommodation Award 2002/03 programme'. We cater for those keen to see game and experience a bit of Africa on their trip along the Garden Route.
